It's all about learning and connecting through Jesus.
Our Mission & Vision
Our aim is to help children become a lifelong light for their community. Every Sunday, we’re working to empower children to live out their faith, serve others, and be witnesses through a solid connection to Christ. We follow the Gospel Project curriculum, which goes through the stories of the Bible chronologically, focusing on how they each point to Jesus.
where to go
All kids ages 0-14 are invited to join us for Sunday school on Sunday mornings at 10:30am. We have a new Infant Room (0-3) down the hall from our Fireside Room. Parents are welcome to join or have a cup of coffee just a few steps away. Kids ages 3 and up meet in our lower level Sunday school room and will participate in a variety of learning activities meant to nurture their faith and grow roots to become a lifelong disciple of Jesus.
Meet our teachers.

Laura Henriksen came to Mt. Olive while attending nearby Hamline University, and has been teaching Sunday school for over 10 years. Besides working in upper restaurant management, serving on the Basilica Block Party Executive Committee, and volunteering for Bellis Adoption Education & Support, Laura is an aunt, godparent, and sister. At our Sunday school program, Laura especially enjoys working with younger kids, fielding their many questions and watching them learn and grow in so many different ways, especially their faith.
